Lumineers

LumineersJust like conventional porcelain veneers, Lumineers correct the appearance of cracked, uneven teeth and gaps between teeth. And, like porcelain veneers, Lumineers are porcelain shells that are custom-made to fit precisely over your teeth. But Lumineers are much thinner than traditional veneers. Lumineers are approximately 0.2 mm thick and conventional veneers are at least 0.5mm thick. For comparison, the thickness of Lumineers is similar to the thickness of a contact lens.

No tooth structure is removed

Another difference between Lumineers and conventional veneers is that there is no need to remove any tooth structure in order to apply Lumineers to your teeth. In this way, you maintain your entire tooth surface. This also means that the application process is much quicker and more comfortable.

A brighter smile that can last 20 years

Lumineers offer a quick and comfortable way to achieve a beautiful, bright smile and are an effective tool for overcoming the issues of uneven, cracked, and discoloured teeth. Lumineers are made out of a patented porcelain called Cerinate, which is exceptionally strong. That is why the veneers can be made very thin. The process is completed in two or three office visits.

With regular oral hygiene and dental care, Lumineers can last over 20 years. The procedure is completely reversible because your entire tooth structure is still intact.
