We Love New Clients

At Smile for Life in South Melbourne we are a patient focused practice and work to make our patients feel like they are part of our family. We treat the individual as a VIP and not move them between multiple surgerys and different dentists. The dentist you see will be the principal dentist who will be there to welcome you back each time. Our arrival room is private and engineered so that you dont share it with another person

We are proud to say that we have thought ahead with our  infection control processes and long ago introduced a practice design which was COVID 19 safe.  We go way beyond the regulations which require 4 sq meters per person.

Our treatment room is huge being 24 sqm and triple the size of a normal dental room ( 7.5 to 10 sq m. The room is naturally ventilated to the outside unlike an office based surgery which relies on recirculating the air.

Our operating chair does not have a spit bowl beside the chair. This is the bowl where people spit into during a procedure. It difficult to clean so there is always the chance of transmission. Its simply not hygienic so we removed it and the risk of COVID 19 went with it.

We dont have LCD screens or poles coming of the chair. These are areas where aerosols can land and transmit COVID 19. Its all been removed leaving a clean environment.

Even the arm rests on the chair are gone so no need for hands to touch surfaces that others have been in contact with.

We take your safety seriously from start to finish.

Importantly we feel that happiness starts with a warm approach and a big smile and we promise to endeavor to give that to you each time we welcome you back to our family.
